Consumers are very unhappy with Telkom SA

Telecom company Telkom has left consumers dry with no feedback for at least a year and a half with unresolved complaints and internet contracts not being cancelled. Customers have been sending the required documents to email links provided on their website
( StocST@telkom.co.za ) but has said that nobody follows up with them and all they receive is an automated email saying that either the Telkom mailbox is full or that a Telkom representative will follow up shortly, but this never happens.

Heres 5 reasons why consumers are canceling their contracts with South Africa’s Telkom:

  • The waiting period to get feedback on a complaint is minimum 3 days
  •  Their response mails are automated with no human follow-up
  • Their call centre has been rated as one of the most abusive telephone contact centres in South Africa
  • Telkom social media team can’t really help you, even when you provide a service number
  • You still get billed even when you’ve cancelled your Telkom contract
